I ordered a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis in early November and was told at the time that it would take 2-3 months. Well, 3 months later I've now been told it will be 4 months. I better love this car a lot, because I had sold my existing car 1 week after placing my order and have been without a car all this time. Since most dealers in Western Washington have ZERO Grand Marquis in stock and the only way to get it the way I wanted was to order it, it's not good customer service by Ford to make customers wait so long.

I guess you're in line behind the hundreds of thousands of police cars and taxi cabs. They'll get to your's once they're done with all of the others. Then they'll re-tool the assembly line, bring in a special team of master techs, build your one car, and slap a Mercury badge on it......and still, you won't get an ash tray.
