The main problem with the Marauder is it just isn't fast. The little 4.6 litre engine, just doesn't have the torque (or gearing for that matter) to shift that big heavy body. If it had something like a BOSS 260 or BOSS 290 under the bonnet, things may be a bit different.
The Impala SS atleast had the torquey 350 under the bonnet to get all that weight moving.
The Marauder is a great concept, with a major shortcoming.
