I have a 2003 Mercury Grtand Marquis. The problem Im having is the wipers started running, and wii not shut off by the switch. I have to pull the fuse for them to stop. Insert the fuse,they start . At this time wiper delay,high,and low speeds work. I noticed yesterday by inserting the fuse and remov ing. Going through this process several times,the wipers worked as they're supposed to.IE: they shut off from the switch. Anyone out there have this problem. I dont want to replace and the problem not solved. Besides i dont think I would be able to return the switch to the dealer if it turns out not to work.

I just replaced a wiper motor in one of my taxis a couple days ago with the same condition. I have an S-10 that did the same thing to me a couple years ago. The new wiper motor solved that one too.

thanks,I'll have to look into that. First Im going to check the relay. maybe its stuck open. When I pulled the fuse several times,that sort of temporarily fixed the problem for a short period of time.
