Very true. I think the point is that you need to evaluate each one up close on an individual basis. Wear & tear on these vehicles does not necessarily coincide with mileage. Find one you think is a good candidate, then test drive it, visually inspect the fluids for cleanliness and age, listen to the engine running with your head under the hood, crawl under the car and look for any signs of leaks. Do all the things you would do to check out any used car, but be especially diligent since you know most of these cars have been ridden hard.
