There were several different Batmobiles made back in the 60’s. I remember reading when I was a young impressionable teenager in the muscle car era that one of the TV show Batmobiles was built on a 1966 GTO frame with a 389 and three 2-barrel carbs. The article said it would run 140 mph on the street.
About 10 years ago I saw another one in a local car museum that was built on a T-Bird chassis with a 390-4V that claimed to be one of the TV show cars. Their use to be a mid-70’s Plymouth Fury in town that some kid had tried to turn into a Batmobile complete with fins and a huge wing/tail attached to the back with a “afterburner” molded into the trunk.
