towncar guy Guest Posts: n/a	Engine Surge of sorts I am the proud new owner of a great 92 Town Car Exec.. Prob is, the engine seems to surge or "stumble" when i bring it above 40MPH..it typically comes and goes, and I need help pinpointing the cause. I experience a lag in power when the engine does this, but it has always gone away... I have already: Changed the fuel filter and spark plugs, and have taken it for regualr service at Jiffy Lube ( oil change, transmission flush, fuel system cleaning ) I am contemplating changing the spark plug wires and the ignition coils next.. The "check engine" light DOES NOT Light up when the engine stumbles or surges. Any ideas?
