Thumbs up Tuning your TDi

This has been on some other Land Rover forums but I thought I'd put it on here as well.

It's all to do with tuning the injector pump on the 200 and 300 TDi engines. They use the same pump as the Dodge Ram and someone has kindly put the instructions on the net.

Have a look at: Turning up the pre 94 Ram

If you do have a go with this, Always make a note of the original settings and what you have done so you can return to standard if you don't like the results!

I have made some mod's using these instructions and, when added to a larger intercooler, it makes driving the vehicle alot better, quicker pull-away, faster exeleration and nearly the same fuel figures. :s6:

Often toyed with making the changes myself until I jumped into another 300 Tdi.

Mine is March 1998 and noticeably out pulls the 96 version.

So I’m guessing that some sort of change or optimisation has already taken place.

Still, I change the oil every 3K and flush the intercooler regularly.
