04-05 F150's

Does anyone have one and if so are they getting a vibration when going about 55+ if so let me know. I work for Ford Motor company and a lot of people that i work with have bought these and they are having a problem. I am just trying to see if this is a major problem because ford hasn't made an annoucment about it yet

hey blue that vibration sound ur talking about sounds like its somethin to do with tha drive shaft, especially the fact it starts to happen when they get up to speed.

no they are saying it's the overdrive, but yet they have no fix for it!

Get with a good dealer. There is a 'vibration-block' which bolts to the frame at the back of the truck. If you have a reciever hitch you may have to change that also. The hitches made for the trucks with a block are different.
There is a TSB out about it....a good dealer should know about it.

had the same problem with my super crew (new body style) yes there is a vibration block that mounts on the left rear of the truck but also there is a slight rac adjustment that can be done to get rid of that shimmy in the steering wheel, hey it worked for me

Ford has had a vibration issue with the 2004-2005 F-150 trucks. The vibration damper you speak of will not cure the "steering nibble" in these trucks.
