frown 06 F150

I have a 2006 F150 5.4 crew 2wd. My son recently used a pressure washer to wash the truck. After he did that it wont crank over. I turn the key and hear a click at the passenger side kick panel. Battery reads 11 volts. Checked the cables etc...no corrosion... had the starter checked OK Please help im at my wits end...

Re: 06 F150

Gman,
I can't help with your ignition problem but am wondering if you have identified the problem and found a solution. Sounds like it could happen very easily to anyone and knowing the answer would be helpful

Re: 06 F150

the battery is dead. thats what the clicking noise is telling you; not enough juice to fully crank the starter. either your son fried something electrical, or more likely, the battery just died. you could try charging it, or jumping it to see if it would hold a charge, or just replace it.
