Question 1989 ford f-150 supercab 5.0L

I got this truck for free, and i have alot of parts on it. i kinda want to keep it running.
I replaced the coil, water pump, rebuilt the top end and the truck will not run for more than 30 mins. once it's warm it skips a bit then stalls. if i let it cool down it will start right up. i tested the ICM on the distributor, it checks good. I'm not sure whats going on with it. any ideas where to start?

Top of my list is the coil, but get a Haynes manual (the older, the better) & a cheap digital multimeter, and follow the ignition diagnostic procedure, usually in Ch.5 Sec.5, p.5-5. How much fuel pressure does it have? Have you done a compression test since the rebuild? Spark plug gaps, wires, cap, rotor...?
