Ok so I'm new to the truck world as I've really been driving compact cars most of my life(driven plenty of trucks, but haven't had to be responsible for repairs). So here goes:

First I think their is tilt wheel, not sure though? There is a little lever on the underside of the steering column that flips down, as if it would help in tilting the wheel...does this part break often because the wheel doesn't tilt at all...or maybe there isn't even tilt?

Second, is there a gas light? lol...

Third, the AC was recently recharged and had a new hose put on it, but the compressor makes a ticking noise, and the AC works intermittently. Sometimes even at night it won't blow cold(so its not just during the middle of the day) Someone suggested the AC clutch? Second opinions?

As for the tilt...it sounds like it has it. Push the lever toward the dash and push up or pull down on the steering wheel. They dont normally break.

As for a gas light...no it does not have a gas light. There will be a loud shrieking sound when it only has 1 gallon left and your far away from a gas station. JK no it doesnt lol.

The clicking you hear on the ac is the clutch engaging and dis-engaging. This could be a low charge or a bad sensor in the condensor. It may also be the compressor. Have it checked for leaks with a sniffer and go from there. Be prepared to spend some cash though. Just a recharge at a service center will run around 300.00.

I wouldnt recharge it again until I was sure it was in good shape.

Thanks! found out today no gas light...LOL! didn't read this in time I guess. oh well.

The lever on the wheel goes side to side, and when i flip it down, nothing happens so i'm not sure...but i'll mess with it some more.

the AC has been checked and the compressor is fine, and then they recharged it after that. They put a new line on it when they checked it becasue the old one was no good....AC worked good today, its hit or miss with that thing.
