Trans' slips and shifts hard at times. I've changed fluid and filter, including
converter fluid.

Does it do it in all gears when it shift hard? Cold or hot? Does the engine seem to run good?

It only does it hot. It seems to slip while driving, only on re-acceleration
right after de-accelerating. Engine runs fine!

It stll could be the engine though. The MAF gives infromation to control shifts too. Try cleaninng the MAF (there's a special cleaner for it) and see if that helps. Another thing can be a poor connection at the plug to the DTRS on the transmission. They sometimes get water intrusion and give mixed readings, Unplug that and put some dielectric grease on the plug. See if any of this helps.

DTRS is the switch where the linkage connects.

What is MAF? Would that be mass air flow sensor unit?

Hey rtg143,
You sure know your stuff!! I sprayed a can of GUMOUT air intake and
throttle body cleaner in the throttle body. It now shifts great with no
slipping. I can't tell you how much I thank you. I thought I was looking
to buy a transmission.
