86 F-150 Electrical problems?

I have a 1986 F-150 the alternator was bad, replaced with new. On first test drive, the truck lost all power. Battery is fully charged, but no power to the fuse panel at all. All fusible links at the solenoid are good. Alternator is hooked up right, as it has plugs and couldnt be hooked up wrong. Ani ideas? Anybody know were the the power runs into the fuse panel, and is there another fusible link or fuse somewere else? All of the battery terminals ect are good. Thanks
