confused 89'150 pickup

Just bought a 89'f150 4.9, floor shift. My problem is it has no working temp. or oil gauages, no horn. It has saddle tanks also, but one is not working and I don't have a real good selection of work manuals to choose from. Is there a good WORK SHOP MANUAL out there? I do have a volt tester /amp meter to work with. Are there sensors/breakers ect. that I should check?

Of coarse you know to check your fuse's first. If they check out O.K. then an OHM's test is in order for the guage field ground. This is located on the back of the insturment cluster. It look's like a small horn relay with 2 wire's from it. Check for continuity. I believe this will find your problem.
