Question 92 F150 wont start

Hi everyone, hope you all can help. After searching google for an hour or so I've decided to join a forum to get some better help.

Problem I have is that my truck wont start anymore. Problem started after truck slipped off my jack while I was replacing 2 studs on the rear passenger side rotor. The truck fell maybe 3 inches onto a jack stand.

Now when I try to turn the key the starter relay clicks once and cab loses power (lights, radio, ect).

I've tried cleaning the battery posts, chrged the battery, tried jump starting just in case, checked the fuel-system inertia switch, changed the relay from a parts truck (this one doesn't even make the click noise the other did), next I'll check the neutral safety switch.

Any have an other ideas I may try, oh please keep in mind I'm not a mechanic.

Thanks

Re: 92 F150 wont start

Now clean & tighten every OTHER terminal on the 2 heavy battery cables. There are ~7 total. Block, frame, & core support grounds; starter relay, starter solenoid, underhood fuse block...

When you lose power, don't touch or jarr anything, and test voltage across the battery POSTS (not the clamps around the posts). If it's normal, move one of the meter probes onto the clamp, note the reading, put it back on the post & move the other one to its clamp, & note the reading. If either is significantly lower, that's the dirty/loose clamp. If they're all about the same, move the (+) probe to the starter relay's front large post. If it's low, the (+) cable is bad. Put the (+) probe back on the battery post & move the (-) to the alternator case, or the green ground screw on the core support. If either reads low, the (-) cable is bad.

If either battery post clamp is heavily corroded, read these captions:
