'98 F-150 Cruise Control

Cruise control on my 98 F-150 didn't work before the recall and still doesn't (that would have been too easy). Does anyone have any stories or solutons they'ld like to offer? I am looking for what has worked for others.

I have seen the buttons on the steering wheel go bad causing the cruise not to work. You can test them with the proper Ford diagnostic computers at a dealership.

Re: '98 F-150 Cruise Control

Thnx Johnny, I was afraid you were going to say that. That air bag package makes me nervous (I know how to disarm, but it's still like betting a pair of Aces ... never feel 100% with it). Probably wont take it to Ford Hou$e. Most likely will use my old cruise contol (foot on gas in sink with radar detector).

Thanks again
