99 v10 making clicking noise in engine, why?? - Ford Forums

I just bought a 1999 f250 crew cab with a v10 in it, it has 63000 miles. When it is idleing it makes a clicking noise off of the passenger side. Kind of sounds like a lifter but not as loud. I was told that this could just be injector noise. Have any of you had this happen to your v10's. any info would be great. thanks

I'd try to find out if the previous owner had got into the motor at all... If it's not a lifter it could be some valve tap...In that case they would need adjusting
