My 1992 F-150 is flashing an air bag code 12. I looked it up and it says something like low voltage.
The battery is brand new and the alternator is running fine. There are absolutly no electrical problems with this vehicle. I have checked the voltage and it is completely normal, no problems at all.
I cannot readily access that info on older vehicles, so I really cannot help out. If it does state a low voltage issue, then it may be the clockspring.
no, you must remove the steering wheel which is potentially dangerous because of the air bag. The clock spring is what connects the controls in the steering wheel to the rest of the truck, but its all a ribbon so everything can turn with the steering wheel. I'll take a pic of the one taken out of my truck.
Ok, I was able to look at the blinking light and not go from memory. It is pause blink blink blink pause blink blink pause. Is this 32 and what is that? or could it be 23?
