My airbag light on the dash is flashing. I have read that it could be the "clock spring" in the steering column. I have also read that the horn and cruise control usually fail when it is the "clock spring". My horn and cruise control are working fine.
Is there anything else that would cause the "blinking"?
Ford dealer wants $100.00 for a diagnostic to tell me something is wrong.

its probly one of the two air bag sensors in the top of the grillethey are about one foot to the left and right of the hood latch and bolt to the top of the radiator support

had the same problem on my 94, it is most likely the clock spring. look at the light as its blinking, it blinks a code (like morse code only numbers)

I am having the same problem and mine goes like this:

two second pause, flash, flash, two second pause, flash,flash and so forth

Thats code 22, Never herd of it, but 32 is clock spring.

hi i have a similar problem in my 94 flareside the airbag light blinks 5 times then a pause then once then 5 times again pause then one blink...anyone knows what this means?
