Caliper Housing Bolt rubbing inside of Rims

I just changed out my junky 15" wheels for 96 OEM Ford Aluminum ones. Once I had changed all four, I found that I couldn't move forward or back. Sounded like grinding and I thought I had an emergency brake problem, but the aluminum shavings under both front wheels let me know different. Now, I have a problem. My two front wheels rub against the caliper housing bolts. I replaced the bolt with new ones and I have the same problem. I also think that the housing is stripped since the bolt does not go all the way in and spins in place. this causes it to stick out a few mm and that I fear is causing the problem.

Any advice from here? My truck is stuck (unless I return to the old front wheels)

You can grind down the bolts slightly before installing them. If you have to take more than 1/4" off, then I recommend going back to the other wheels, or finding 16" or larger aftermarket wheels that will clear the calipers.

Thanks - grinding was what I was about to try unitl I put some spacers on the lug bolts. They pushed out the wheel just enough to clear the calipers. Problem solved - I hope.

What truck did you put these '96 wheels onto?
