dana 44 question

I acquired this 76 f100 4x4 that is lifted 8". They made drops for the arms to keep the caster in line. Unfortuantly it also came with a vibration coming from the missaligned driveline I need to point the dana straight at the transfer case and keep the cv joint. My question is ....Is the axle tubes pressed in ...can i turn just the pumpkin some how without effecting the caster?

Re: dana 44 question

yes you can turn the pumpkin, the left axle tube is only short, but it can be done. where are you? aus or us? there is a guy in mornington, victoria that does it if you are in australia. you shouldnt have to do it though, i have a superlift 9" lift kit. it has drop brackets for the control arms, and new c bushes for the diff, that angle the diff down, then you put in a 1310 uni in the front of the tail shaft. should be fine like that.
