dash pad of 66 custom cab - Ford Forums

I was wondering what is underneath the dash pad. Someone attempted to re- do it some time ago and it looks like crap. I would prefer to take it off and just paint the metal nice underneath. Would that be asking for trouble? any input would be appreciated

Eric, there should only be a couple spots of glue under the pad about 3-4 inches in diameter. No big deal.
