Emergency Brake Cable Broke

I have a 94 F-150 regular cab with a short bed and the emergency brake cable broke where the cable connects to the pedal assembly. I have never replaced a brake cable before and I need some advise on doing this job. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lefty-loosey - Righty-tighty.

It is not that bad of a job. The cable hook-up is the hardest part.
