Engine Pull

I just bought a 2000 F-150 4x4 Rollover. The truck is wasted but I'm pulling the Engine, Tranny and T-Case to put in my wrangler. I have time and access to remove anything I will need to make the job easier.

I plan on taking the entire wiring harness from the motor and the computer. Anyone have any experiance with something like this and do you have any comments or advise as to what I will need from the wrecked F-150 to make the job go smooth as possible?

I was also thinking about using the axels. Dose anyone know if it is possible?

Thanks

Re: Engine Pull

Do you ever have your work cut out for you.
"Wrangler" generally use "Damiler" wiring and none of it is compatable with Ford wiring unless you do a lot of cutting and splicing. If your mind is made up to do it, I'd suggest that you get a complete wiring schematic for both vehical's and study them very closely and good luck. Let us know how it goe's.

Re: Engine Pull

if the trucks wrecked from a roll over theres a good chance the axle will be damaged too. stay away from them.
good luck with it all though.
