F-100 Super National

Anybody make it to the 2001 F-100 Super National in Pigon Forge? I've wanted to go for several years and haven't been able to make it. Maybe one of these days I'll get lucky!

F-100 Supernationals

I have been going as a vendor since 1982 when it was still being held at Chimney Rock, N.C. If you think you might want to go, you should plan on year 2003. That is the 100TH year anniverary for FORD, the 50TH year for the F-100, the 25TH year for the show, and if you register a truck you have a chance at winning the 1953 F-100 giveaway truck. The frame for the truck and drawings of the finished truck were on display this year. I don't mind telling you, I love my 64 and my 56 but I would like to make room in the yard for the giveaway truck. The beauty of the mountains and creeks is worth the trip, even if you don't look at the 800 plus trucks that seem to be everywhere you turn. You know you want to, now go ahead and make plans to do it.

F-100 Supernationals

Ricky,
If I didn't know any better I'd think you were a saleman. That was a pretty good plug for the 2003 Supernationals. I'd love to go and I may just figure out some way of making it.
I have ridden through that area in about 1990 on my Honda Goldwing when it was close to 100 on the old thermometer.
