F-150 Won't fire up

I was given a '93 F-150, 6cyl. manual 2wd pickup, which did run a few month's ago when I parked it in my yard. I went to restart the thing and it cranked, but no spark. The solenoid looked beat, so I replaced it- to no avail. Any suggestions for further troubleshooting? I'd like to avoid towing it to a shop -or selling it for parts!

The other issue has to do with having to repeatedly top off the master cylinder for the clutch fluid, which has a slow leak. What kind of a repair am I looking at here?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated! I'm a Saab guy and don't know my way around pickup trucks. I used to have an F-150 of the same year and it always started!

If it dosen'tstart, I would check the distributor cap. It might be corroded, or the fuel pump may have lost power. As for the master cylinder leaking, the seal on the bottom of the cylinder might be shot. Two other options might be the hose is cracked or the slave cylinder is going out. If that's the case the tranny has to be dropped.

There is a TFI Module on the base of the distributor that can go bad. If you have a test light put it on the output of the coil. If it does not flash when you crank it the modlue is bad. I have changed it a couple of times on my 91. I also just got through changing the slave cylinder on my clutch. I was having to add fluid every month and it finally went out.
