frown F trucks

Hello all,

I wanna buy an f250 or f350 but i wanna know what the fuel consumption would be like for a 7.3 litre turbo diesel, i know diesel burns slower but a 7.3 t would chew, i need something capable of towing my race car on weekends, also what would be the main difference in the f 250 to f 350?

cheers

Re: F trucks

I'm not actually sure, im just having a guess but it would be around the 20L per 100 ks. Which i guess is really good for a vehicle that size and which can tow a bundle or two. The major differences between the two would be the tow ratings/weight capacitys and maybe the suspension setups.

Re: F trucks

thanks for your response i know both models can tow 3.5 tonne. I think the GVM is the main difference but i cant find that in writing anywhere

Re: F trucks

hi
my family has 2 f250"s and 1 f350,all 7.3td auto.the main difference between them is the suspension(350 has stronger and more leafs).as far as fuel goes going to work 6 days a week it uses between 0-10 litres more than the 4.2 landcruiser we have on the exact same trips.they are powerful, comfortable, and built like a tank i love it
thanks tiny

Smile Re: F trucks

thats awesome. I know the f 350 XLT i want has a 152 L fuel tank. I plan to be towing a 1.6Ton ca with a 800kg trailer so i think the F should do it pretty easy, what do you reckon?
