there are several differences between the 302 & 351 most of which are little concern but the 351 block will have a 1/2" higher deck height which will effect exhaust location and the accessories that bolt to the front of the head like a smog pump or power steering pump.
as for the ecu i cant answer what kind of problems that might involve !
you will need to seek that info from a reputable tech source such as professor overdrive at summitracing.
the heads for 302 & 351 are interchangable as far as i know but you dont want to put 302 heads on a 351w without knowing what pistons to use or the compression will be too high.
the intake manifold is different on a 351w.

Hey JBon, have you just recently put the truck on lpg? If so, if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you to do. With the fuel prices going the way they are, i might have to put it on the gas to save some money.
