Re: f150 vibrating

Can I assume that it feel's like a driveline problem ? One of the most common problem's is the rear transmission bushing being overly worn. What is the milage ?
Is it a manual shift ? If so the clutch may have hot spot's and in need of replacement along with getting the flywheel machined.

Re: f150 vibrating

If you can feel the vibration in the gas pedal, especially when turning at slow speeds, ie starting off at a stop light or pulling out of a driveway and turning at the same time, the problem may be the clutches in the rear end. It is a well documented problem with Ford and a retrofit kit is available from your dealer. My 2000 Larriat rear end was just rebuilt under an extended warranty I purchased with the vehicle. Cost me my deductable only and the truck has never felt as responsive on takeoffs as it does now. Hope this helps.

Re: f150 vibrating

I had this problem on my fathers 97 it could be the ignition wires is arcing to the block
suggestion: change wires and plugs or at least gap em (look for cracks or pits in the boots)
