my 2001 f150supercrew smokes on start up 62000 miles and dealer says he cant fix it because it doesnt show any codes!anyone else ever have this problem if so what is it

If you first start up your truck and a puff of smoke comes out, but then quits, then it is just normal wear. Oil seeps through the valve seals overnight and lies in the cylinders. When you first start it, the oil burns out.

If it were mine, I would not worry about it.

thats what i was thinking but it looks really bad as much as it smokes! so to fix it may as well do valve job humm?
