my truck died and wont start again. The engine rotates, but doesnt start. There is spark to each one of the cylinders. You cant hear either fuel pump come on. Theres gas in on of the tanks. Any thoughts?

Couple days ago I couldn't shut mine off, the fuel pumps kept going after I shut the engine off. Anyway check the inertia button on the inside firewall upper left of the steering column and make sure its in the down position. Check the fuel pump sending relay, its on top of the left fender well (thats where mine is) and tap it, it could be faulty, its got a black cover over it. I have an 88 F150 also. If you have two fuel tanks, there is a fuse under the dash on the fuse panel. Single tanks don't have one.

something like that happened to me once. try turning your key on and off without starting the truck about ten times. this usually resets the computer. if not then it is probably the fuel pump relay.

My truck did the exact thing and it was the relay good luck
