Re: hay what's Do'N?

I owned a '95 Chevy 1/2 ton with the Vortec 350 and under 100,000 miles on it. It had good power but gave me many headaches and a much lighter wallet. In a matter of months I pulled both heads for a valve job and head gaskets, put in new half shafts up front due to worn CV joints, rear axle bearings, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing, u-joints, and numerous other little things. Needless to say, I couldn't afford to keep it and went back to Ford. I've had my Bronco ever since and all I've done to it was by choice, not because it broke. I lost 2 grand on the deal besides the money I dumped in it and if that's not a reason to be a little jaded, I don't know what is.

And 351, no need to keep the kid gloves on. I have no problem arguing the Chevy/Ford thing. Keep it friendly and NOT personal and there's no problem with having a discussion like that. This is a Ford site after all.

If you want to make it more than friendly, send me a PM and you can tell me what you really think of me. :-)

Re: hay what's Do'N?

OK "89F150" here you go, ( Drum roll please) She may-not be as bad as I make her out 2 be? but she is for driving and work, not show. I'm thinking about lowering her ( Well,,! giving her a lower stance) and just retiring her from work completely. I'm still not sure what i'm going to do with her yet. these are from last july, i just started the body work then . Not much has changed really. here is another,

"351w" It's the one farthest away.....! Haa ha :D :D .....but the tractor is a ford! :)

'92BIGBRONCO,
I don't know much about Chevy's, but I do nothing but spend money on my Ford one way or another. But that's OK, it seems worthwhile because it IS a FORD.

Re: hay what's Do'N?

LOL, We all have our favorites. I love my Fords and wouldn't have it any other way. I respect Dodge and Chevy both as they make good products for the most part. The Chevy comment was a joke, but apparently it's wrong to make Chevy jokes on a Ford forum...go figure.

If there's any kind of car out there that I really can't stand, it's the rice. When will they learn that a fart can exhaust, an oversized spoiler, clear tail lights, and a few hundred pounds of accessories don't make the car fast?

To each his own I guess. :-)
