Heater Core Headache! please help!
I just got finished replacing the Heater Core on my 1997 F-150 (4.6L). we got it all put back together after hours! of contortionist work on the dash. SO we get it all done and go to start it- and nothing. The dome/dash lights come on, but no start, the engine doesnt turn over. So we crossed the bolts on the solinoid on the firewall- and that turned the motor over, but it didnt start. It didnt even cough- just spun. We replaced the solinoid, and that had no effect, so apparently that was not the problem. We are wondering if the fuel inertia switch is broken ( we pushed the button up and down, no effect) or if we accidentally pulled one of the plugs when we were wrenching on the dash- we are not sure! please if you have any ideas/comments/thoughts it would be greatly appreciated! i gottta drive to college in a week!
