Help!!!!!!!!!

my truck was running fine until aobut a half hour ago then when i went to start it it wouldnt fire. it would turn over and go RRRRRrrrrrRRRRRrrrrrRRRRRrrrrr. but nuthin any1 one know what it could be?????

its a 1979 f-150 with the 351

Getting spark? Fuel? anything that can help us in diagnosis of this. Starter going out? Could be just about anything at this point

you definetly need to give us more info on this subject but let me take a stab at it.
do you get gas squirting into the carb when you push the throttle ?
do you have any spark at a pulled plug wire ?
when your engine doesnt start it can be caused by any of about 5 different things.
but the first 2 things are spark at plugs and fuel in carb bowl.
