I have a '91 F-150 w/ a I6 with 99,000. This is a very strong engine. No problems yet and I hope the body goes first.

garyb, there is a website called alldata.com that has TSB's and recalls. It is rather helpful. tcford2010, there is a website that deals only with inline 6's. It's called cliffordperformance.com. Talk about a really neat website. Who knew they made HEADERS (not a header) for and in-line 6.

Oh, I forgot to tell about our Trucks. My truck is a 96 F-150 Reg. Cab Long Bed with the 300 and 5 speed. It has 73,000 and runs good. The color is Toreador Red.
My dad's is a 94 F-150 Ext. Cab Short Bed 4x4 with the 302 and Auto. It has 60,000 and it is immaculate, just on the second set of tires. The color is Forest Green.
My brother's is a 2002 F-150 Ext. Cab Short Bed 4x4 with the 5.4 and Auto. It has 6,000 and is a beauty. The color is Tan (forget what Ford calls it.)
We also have a 2000 E-150 Conversion van. This thing is decked out. It is the 5.4 and only has about 15,000 miles.
My other brother's car is an 89 Ford LTD. This thing is tight as hell. It is was our grandparents and only has 60,000 miles and is black. I put pictures of it on here as soon as we get them developed.
My daily driver is a 95 Mercury Grand Marquis with 132,000. This car is rough, but still drives good. It is a light green.

Re: High Mileage F-150s

I just bought a 78 long wheelbase F100 with 138k's (86 000 miles). The last and original owner was an old guy who maintained her exceptionally.

Everything is totally original, it even has plastic covering the carpet still as it came from the factory. Amazing. Even the original tarp was folded up unused in the back, and the tray is unmarked.

I know its meant to be used as a truck but...
