Re: How cool is your truck?

Nice. Does the 5" tach make you go faster?
I'm with you as well, i dont let my dog drive my truck either.
I think he lets the dog drive because he doesn't want to get the reputation of being the owner of such a weak looking truck. LOL (Its about time i had someone around here to pick on the mod.)

cool Re: How cool is your truck?

'89F150- No the Tach doesn't make it go faster. It's just nice to see it hit 7000rpm at full noise. I beleive that your truck should be faster as it is a red one, & everyone knows that red ones go faster.

351W- Who was it that got 67 coolness factor as apposed to our 74? Don't even ask what I think of Old '67 worker getting 82.I think he must be telling porky pies.

Re: How cool is your truck?

i have been a little guilty of hanging with the ricers, but quietly laughing at them, and beating them in car stereo comps. my side exhausts are at their window height, and they get sooo annoyed when i give it a rev as i drive past their open windows!!

Re: How cool is your truck?

thanks for the compliments, it is going to get better! i have just landed a 12" lift for it, and bigger tyres. the stereo is a jvc headunit and stacker, and clarion splits of a 100w x 4 amp, and it was a single 12" kicker solobaric (square) sub in a 3 cubic foot ported box, running of a kicker mono block comp amp. it made over 140 db. i now have another sub, but the box is a lot smalle now, with 2 subs, and isnt much louder. a redesign of the box, and another amp, should see it crank!

Re: How cool is your truck?

That sounds awesome, you must be going deaf. Its surely going to be a beast when that lift goes on.
