I have a 99 F150 and Ive had alot of vibration problems. I found several things wrong from the tires being way out of balance to the driveshaft missing a weight. I had the truck jacked up today on jack stands and removed the tires, I noticed the axles look like they are bent as it rotates, I dont drive the truck offroad or anything like that, how does an axle get bent from highway driving?

Pot holes or dumping the cluth normally I have broken a couple of axles over the years and bent several housing , doesnt take much abuse just bad luck.
Have you tried removing the wheels and checking it's all square ?

I removed the wheels last night while it was jacked up, I had it in gear and running as I watched it. I could see the axle wobble where the tire bolts on, it feels like the bearings are tight so I dont think its a bearing problem. There are tons of pot holes in the roads around here, never thought of bending an axle from those, I know ive had trouble keeping tires balanced which I assume is also coming from the pot holes.

The axles can very well be bent. I seen alot of them. I guess they are not as tough as you would think.
