How Much Can I Tow

I have a 1973 F-100 w/ a 360 and a 3-speed column shift. It has a 5000GVW package and has overloads on it. I was just wondering how I could pull with it.

Re: How Much Can I Tow

You need to find out the GCWR before you can work oput how much you can tow. GVW or GVWR is how much the truck can carry including occupants. That is the 5000 lbs. The GCWR is how much combined weight (Trucj and trailer) you can have. Unfortunately i dont know your GCWR so i cant tell you how much you can tow.
