Indicators

Some days my indicators flash faster then normal. Does any one know where i could start looking something like a wiring or moisture. Any suggestions.

What days? Hotter days, colder days....wondering if the weather is a factor.

Re: Indicators

not sure about yours ? but some will get a "funny wear spot" in the cam, in-side the steering colume and when you turn the wheel it'll catch , so it won't be "on"... but not "off " ? get it ? the fire jumps........ in that spot so its kind of sporadic, at best. Just a thought..............:)

Re: Indicators

Mine did that monday evening - did it for 4hrs next morning fine & has been since.

we checked it & the rear left indicator (side that was flashing twice as fast) was only glimmering - front left was fine, we where going to try a globe, but the problem has gone

Re: Indicators

Yup. Increase in circuit resistance will make the signals blink faster....which is why you often change to a slower flasher when towing a trailer with lights.

You most likely have a poor ground, a flasher on its way out, or a bulb on its last legs.
