Hey bud, it's cheeper to just do a body lift then add larger tires and rims. Just remember, the largest tires you can add to a F150 are 35's. The axles won't handle any larger. Plus, if you do add larger tires, you will have to change out the axle ratio for both front and rear axles (4X4). If you don't, you can overrev your engine and tranny and just about kill your fuel mileage. I have a 02 F150 with 33's and no lift and my fule mileage really sucks. I get around 10mpg in the city and it really gets worse when I tow my boat. Best advise: just add up and consider all the costs first before you do anything.
