Question Model Specs

Hi there everyone

I have just purchaced a 1989 F150 Auto, I was wishing to check the specs off the build/compliance plates

Trans: R
Model: 62922
Engine: T
??: 6FPAAA

Has anyone got any web site with all the spec on this year truck

Congrats on the purchase. Hope you enjoy the truck as much as i am. I havn't been able to find any decoders for our trucks but i'll do what i can. You have the same engine code as mine (T) which is a 5.0L V8 EFI. The 6FP is where it was manufactured but i dont no where yet. The trans (R) i'm not to sure of. I have a 5 speed manual code (P). Hope this helps a little.

Do you know your production number? (I think its the last 6 digits of the VIN.) Number 640351 here.

k40961 is the last 6 characters of the vin

The Auto is a 3 spd - who makes it???

Has anyone done an good gas cam in one of these??

i think i need to look at my VIN again

Have no idea where i pulled 640351 from. Its actually K40351.
