My '65

I have been a member for a while and thought I'd update with the latest info on my '65 short bed f100. I just completed the installation of a newly rebuilt 300-6 in my '65 that replaced the original 240-6. I am considering replaceing the original 3 speed transmission with a '78 3 speed with a 4th gear overdrive toploader.
If anyone has made such a conversion I would appreciate any input on modifications etc!
By the way, the 300-6 runs like a fine tuned machine.

Mark,
Yes, the swap was very easy. The 300-6 and the 240-6 are a perfect swap. I do plan on a front brake sytem conversion to disk brakes one of these days.
I also have a nice Sony cassette receiver/ 10 disk cd changer to install.
