need identification help on these plug wires

i want to order a set of performance plug wires but there is no listing for what wires will fit my vehicle make.
so if i order a set of universal wires i can simply cut them to length and crimp the ends onto them to make my own custom set, but i dont know what these type boots are called.
if you know what they call this type of boot cap please inform me !
this is the end that plugs into the coil !
is this what is considered a socket style plug wire ?

Re: need identification help on these plug wires

I'm not sure but i think your right. I think its a socket style plug wire. Maybe '92 or someone else has the actual name for it. If you do find out, post here because ive got one of them type plugs which goes to the coil and i 'll have to change my wires soon, so it'll be handy to know.

Re: need identification help on these plug wires

well i didnt get a definite answer on what they are called but i found a set of MSD wires that have the 2 piece boot/clip assy just like the OEM ones.
msdignition.com has a listing for every spark plug wire set they make and i found the ones i need there.
actually the ones listed for your truck say HEI style.
