Hi all, I bought my first f150 about a month ago and I love it. It is a 1998 short box 2wd with a 4.2l and only had 48000 miles on it. I have been reading on other forums about the 4.2l engine and hydro-lock and was wondering how big of problem it is compared to all the 1997/1998 f150 sold? Part of the reason I bought this truck is we have them at work and they get driven hard and don't give us any problem, but from what I have read on other forums and on the Internet there seems to a lot of trucks out there with this problem. Any opinions? Thanks in advance.

Our parts truck is a 1998 with a 4.2L and it has well over 200,000 milesw on it with no problems.
