truck has a 6 cyl. w/ 182,000 miles. about a month ago, it started running really rough and useing oil, about 2 qts a week, and one day I smelled burning oil and smoke comeing from underneath, I looked at the catalytic converter and it was bright red hot, so I shut it down and had it towed home. Pulled the pcv off the intake and oil ran out. Pulled the plugs and all were so fouled up, I couldn't see the electrodes, so cleaned them up and the truck ran great for 2 days and it began running like s__t again. A guy at work said that it probably was the cat plugged up forceing the exhaust past the rings & pressureizing the crankcase forceing oil into the intake, & when the plugs wouldn't fire, the raw gas was going into the cat, causeing it to overheat. Does this make sense? Thanks for helping out. Rolando
