oil pan replacement

I just bought a '93 F-150, I6, 5 sp, 2 WD. The oil pan is banged up & rusty. I would like to replace it, but there doesn't appear to be much room to remove it. Just how difficult is it to swap out the oil pan?

Re: oil pan replacement

You need to lift up the motor to actually replace it. So maybe take it to your local mechanic if you havn't got the right equipment to lift the motor.

Re: oil pan replacement

thanks for the reply. I have to get it inspected anyway, so I'll just have it done then.
