frown The pain of F150/94' new Radiator and got problems..

hi

Im here cause i got a problem with my F-150 Year 1994 XLT 5.0

this thing has over 160,000miles.. but it keeps getting broken piece to parts each day......... This truck is a pain. Im asking for Help or im gonna have to spend the $$$$ i dont have.

Ok what i did =
The Radiator had a lick the other day and i take it out and Bought a newone for $160 and install it today , put 2 gallons of AntiRust + antifreeze in it and a tiny bit of water. Now the Engine doesnt start ?? What does the RADIATOR has to do with the engine for this to happen now? do i need to fill the engine with Water before installing the Radiator? does it have a sensor in it or something? the ENGINE do the noise normallly to start but it doesnt goes on battery all fine?? this is all i can tell i dont know what to do now? any tips for me ..? Thanks apreciate any help

You need to make sure that you have purged the air out of the system. Otherwise you will see the problems you state. Also, you should have done a 50/50 mix of water and coolant. The addition of the antirust is a bit much. When you do get it started you will need to check your levels every time you try to start or do start your truck.

If you still can not get it started make sure that your water pump is working.

lunaticstv.. thanks for this . hey if u dont mind im on the IRC chatroom if we can talk there? also then the WATER has anything to do for the engine to start? is there some kind of sensor telling the engine the water isnt flowing inside yet? or im wrong? anyway Changing the radiator can stop the engine from start?

is it possible that you have wet the distributor and/or coil or some of the relays when you were changing over the radiator?.. Its a little confusing but you say the engine is cranking just not firing? It sounds like a spark problem.. Get a can of water dispersant and hit all the electrics, let it dry out then see if you get a spark

ok tibbo going to do that, then put water all over those parts? and then try to start engine? or how is it?

water dispersant is designed to get rid of any moisture... maybe in the US you call it something else.. WD40 or RP7 i don't know... And as Lunatic said WAtER on the ENGINE is bad and could be the cuase of why your engine wont fire

oh i see.. i dont know where to find that kind of water but the TEMP where i live is now 90ºf feels like 97ºf and with that sun outside i dont think theres still water inside the engine? or i could wait untill tomorrow if thats the case or i dont know exactly to do. the Coil and distributor are the ones i cant get wet?

its an aerosol can.. not a type of water.. coil, relays, dizzy all should stay 100% dry..
