aandy281 Registered User Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Northern Mi. Posts: 1	Rear wheel bearings I'm about to change out the rear wheel bearings. While pricing online I came across a kit on the autozone site "Optional: axle repair package bearing axle repair bearing allows bearing & seal to ride on un-worn axle path". Does anyone out there recommend this or isn't it necessary? Any help is appreciated.

jwko Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: AR - USA Posts: 2,797	Re: Rear wheel bearings If the old bearing have cut into the axles then it will be necessary. Unless you want to replace the axles too.
