Relocate battery to engine compartment

Has anyone done this? Is there a kit, or do I just weld braces on the dash and bolt on a tray?
I want to seal up the under carpet battery access and move the battery to the passenger side of the ending compartment near the heater blower motor. I have a 56 F-100.
