I have a 1987 f150, 2wd, automatic, 5L, 3.55 axle ratio, GVWR 6050. Could someone tell me the Max GCWR as I am looking at travel trailers in the 4000-4500 dry weight range and want to know if the truck will handle the load. Any help would be appreciated.

the trucks max weight was 2880kg + 2-3000kg braked trailer
I will confirm in my manual

If you looking to tow a trailer weighing 4-4500kg - the F150 is not for you
I'd be think minimum F250 - but most likely F350
